Del Valle's Battle against Breast Cancer

Family and Friends, 

Thank you for supporting and helping our lovely friend, Del Valle, in her difficult journey ahead fighting breast cancer.
 
As you all know, Del Valle in 2005 was diagnosed with a Stage 3 Breast Cancer which she was able to overcome successfully. Regrettably, on September 2021, after going for a medical examination, the results of a biopsy determined that , our dear friend Del Valle Marcano had a new Stage 4 Carcinoma Breast Cancer. Following further tests, the doctors determined that this new cancer is more aggressive and responds to fewer treatments. After the initial discovery, her wonderful teams of doctors decided to begin her treatments right away, and have no doubts that she can overcome this cancer again if she is able to continue with the treatment.

Though Del Valle has health insurance, it is no secret that in Venezuela the conditions of the health system are critical and access to medicines, especially for treatments such as cancer, are impossible for most venezuelans. Unfortunately, some of the medications that are necessary for Del Valle's treatment must be purchased privately without insurance coverage, so we need your support to continue with her treatment. Del Valle is a strong woman who has a hard time asking for help, that's why we do it in her place.
