¡Hola!
Soy la Hermana Leuntina Aponte, religiosa de la Congregación de Hermanas Agustinas Recoletas del Corazón de Jesús (ARCJ) en Venezuela. Soy religiosa desde hace más de 30 años, dedicada al servicio de los más pobres y más necesitados.
Desde hace un año atrás he venido sufriendo de severos dolores en las articulaciones, principalmente en la pierna y en la cadera derecha, lo que no me permite movilizarme con agilidad.
Tras unos exámenes rigurosos, se pudo evidenciar que tengo:
- Artrosis severa de cadera derecha.
- Pérdida de la cefálica femoral.
- Osteofitos periacetabular de gran magnitud.
- Geodas cavernomatosas en cavidad acetabular de gran magnitud.
- Cadera subluxada, acortamiento de 4 cm.
Por lo que sugiere una intervención quirúrgica, para realizar:
- Resección de osteofitos periacetabulares.
- Neurolisis de nervio ciático derecho.
- Aporte de injerto de matriz ósea para rellenar los defectos Giodicos en Acetabulo.
- Artroplastia total de cadera derecha con prótesis total.
Debido a la situación actual del país, se hace bastante difícil recaudar la suma para dicha intervención. Por ello, acudo a ustedes para que por caridad y misericordia de Dios, me ayuden a recaudar la suma necesaria para poder realizar la intervención, y de esta manera seguir ayudando a los demás desde mi carisma y compromiso con Dios.

I am Sister Leuntina Aponte, a religious sister of the Congregation of the Augustinian Recollect Sisters of the Heart of Jesus (ARCJ) in Venezuela. I have been a religious sister for over 30 years, dedicated to serving the poorest and most needy.
For the past year, I have been suffering from severe joint pain, mainly in my right leg and hip, which has made it difficult for me to move around easily.
After rigorous examinations, it was found that I have:
- Severe osteoarthritis of the right hip.
- Loss of the femoral cephalad.
- Large periacetabular osteophytes.
- Large cavernous geodes in the acetabular socket.
- Subluxated hip, shortened by 4 cm.
Therefore, surgical intervention is suggested, to perform:
- Resection of periacetabular osteophytes.
- Neurolysis of the right sciatic nerve.
- Bone matrix grafting to fill the giodic defects in the acetabulum.
- Total right hip arthroplasty with a total prosthesis.
Due to the current situation in the country, it is quite difficult to raise the necessary funds for this intervention. Therefore, I am asking you, through God's charity and mercy, to help me raise the necessary funds to carry out the intervention, and in this way, I can continue helping others through my charisma and commitment to God.
