Ayuda a Irene a estudiar en la Guildhall School

¡Hola! Me llamo Irene Hernanz. Soy violinista, acabo de cumplir 18 años y soy de Málaga, España. Toco el violín desde los 6 años, y aparte de la música, me gusta leer, la astronomía, la física... y tengo un perro que se llama Polka.
El pasado diciembre pasé las audiciones de la Guildhall School of Music and Drama, para estudiar allí el Bmus(Hons), que sería como el Título Superior de Música aquí en España, empezando en septiembre de este año. Es una escuela de muchísimo prestigio internacional, en Londres, y cuando me hicieron la oferta por poco me subo por las paredes. Tiene un profesorado de la más alta calidad, instalaciones impresionantes, y organizan muchísimos conciertos, masterclasses y oportunidades para tocar semanales. Fue clasificada como el mejor conservatorio de Reino Unido en las listas del Guardian en 2021, y tiene una tasa de aceptación muy baja, frecuentemente del 10% de los solicitantes.
Sin embargo, el Brexit ha triplicado las tasas universitarias y no permite a los estudiantes de la UE optar, como antes, a los créditos universitarios del gobierno británico. Además, el COVID ha vaciado de fondos a las instituciones que se dedicaban a becar estudiantes de música y artes en el Reino Unido.
Como podéis ver la situación es complicada, pero no pienso rendirme. Cuento con el apoyo de mi familia y varias becas a las que opto en España, pero aún así no es suficiente, por lo que imploro vuestra ayuda para tener el empujoncito que me falta. El estar el primer año allí me permitiría optar a créditos para los siguientes cursos, al tener ya el estatus de pre-residente, y conocer el mercado laboral para poder trabajar y estudiar y terminar así mis estudios allí, pero necesito este primer paso.
Muchísimas gracias por haber llegado hasta aquí. La verdad es que soy bastante tímida, y me ha costado decidirme en si abrir la campaña o no. Pero quiero irme a estudiar a Guildhall, así que voy a por todas. Tengo hasta el 15 de julio para reservar mi plaza pagando una parte de la matrícula, que es cuando confirmaré si voy o no. Agradezco la difusión, ¡a ver si puede llegar a mucha gente!

¡Hello! My name is Irene Hernanz. I'm an eighteen-year-old violinist from Malaga, Spain. I've played the violin since I was 6, and apart from music, I like reading, astronomy, physics, trekking... and I have a dog named Polka.
Last December I auditioned at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and I received an offer to study the Bmus(Hons) in Classical Violin with them, starting next September. It's a very prestigious conservatorie, located in the heart of London, and to be able to study there would be an absolute privilege. It has got a widely renowned teaching staff, amazing facilities, and a lively musical atmosphere with concerts and opportunities to perform every week. Guildhall was ranked the number one UK conservatoire in the 2021 Guardian league tables, and it has one of the lowest acceptance rates in the UK, with only about 10% of the applicants being made an offer.
Nevertheless, the Brexit has tripled the tuition fees and stops us EU students from being elegible for the loans from Student Finance UK. Moreover, Covid has made it really difficult for foundations and trusts, so they cannot sponsor almost any student.
As you can see, the situation is rather difficult, but I'm not planning on giving up. I have my family's support and I'm currently applying for some scholarships in Spain, although it is not enough. That is why I beg for your help, so that I have that final straw. To study there for a year would allow me to be elegible for student loans, as I would qualify in the settlement scheme. I would also be able to explore the labour market in order to get a part-time job, so that I can keep studying till I finish the course, but I need this first step.
To be honest, opening a Gofundme campaign is my last resort. I'm quite shy, and asking for other people's money seemed not right. But I really, really want to study at Guildhall. I know it is a place where I can give it my all and learn a lot every day.
That is why I need your help! Thank you so much for having read till here(it was a lot of text!). I've got until 15th July to pay a part of the tuition fee so that the school saves me a place, which is when I'll finally decide if I can go or not. I also would be thankful if you spread the campaign to anyone you know, so that it can reach all people possible!
