Ayuda a Hortencia/Help Hortencia

My name is Hortencia Ocampo and I am 38 years old. I lived and worked in the State of Arizona where everything was normal in my life, until a few months ago that I began feeling extreme weakness and fatigue in my legs, which has been progressing through the rest of my body as time goes by. At this moment, I am practically unable to move by myself functionally and my immune system is compromised, in addition, I have gone through numerous infections and other serious complications.

According to the doctors, my diagnosis could be Guillain-Barré Syndrome and/or Cushing's Syndrome but any of the 2 is difficult to diagnose or treat and so far, here in the city of Las Vegas, they have not been able to give me the proper treatment after “living” in the hospitals for so long. Up to this day, we are still waiting to be transferred to a more qualified hospital in California to treat my disease, but the medical system (insurance) continues denying the transfer (since it has to be by air and very expensive) and they only see for their own benefit. This would add up to 4 hospitals and the medical and personal expenses have been and will be astronomical.

Since November, approximately, I have been in the emergency room twice in Arizona and I have been transferred and admitted to 3 different hospitals in the city of Las Vegas since December 5th until present day.

My husband Eleazar Peña, has stopped working since then and has been with me every day supporting me, but we ask you to please bless us with your prayers and/or support us with your donations.
