Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, dear brothers and sisters.
Our village mosque and community are in urgent need of clean water. We have started a project to provide a permanent source of safe, fresh water for everyone so worshippers can make wudu easily, and our entire village can benefit.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“The best charity is giving water to drink.” (Ahmad)
And he ﷺ also said: “When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them.” (Muslim)
