Actualización sobre Flor

¡Hola a todos! Espero que estén muy bien. Quería compartirles cómo ha ido todo en estas últimas semanas.

Antes que nada, en nombre de Flor y de toda nuestra familia, queremos agradecerles de corazón por su apoyo. Cada gesto ha sido invaluable en esta batalla.

Flor ya ha recibido 6 de las 21 quimioterapias establecidas inicialmente. Dependiendo de su evolución, el tratamiento podría extenderse o reducirse, pero en principio finalizaría entre abril y mayo.

Afortunadamente, ha reaccionado bien al tratamiento y, aunque enfrenta dolores intensos diariamente, su ánimo y estado psicológico son excelentes. Además, ha mejorado en varios aspectos:

✅ Está recuperando su peso.

✅ Camina cada vez mejor (ya no usa silla de ruedas).

✅ Su trombosis ha mejorado significativamente.

✅ La infección en la vejiga está controlada por primera vez en casi 1 año.

✅ Sus riñones están menos inflamados y funcionando bien.

Estos avances nos llenan de esperanza, pero el camino aún es largo. Necesitaremos nuevamente de su ayuda, ya que los medicamentos tienen un alto costo. Algunas medicinas se consiguen en el seguro social (IVSS), pero otras no. Aquí les dejo el detalle:

(medicinas de bajo costo incluye: notolac, protectores grastricos, evigax, milax, vitaminas B,C,D, calcio, acido flico, ferganic, antibioticos)

Presupuesto mensual sin IVSS: $5.470

Presupuesto hasta abril: $16.410

Como la vez anterior, cualquier aporte, grande o pequeño, hará una gran diferencia. Si no puedes donar, compartir esta campaña con tus amigos y familiares también nos ayudaría muchísimo.

Update on Flor

Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to share an update on how things have been going over the past few weeks.

First of all, on behalf of Flor and our entire family, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support. Every gesture has been invaluable in this battle.

Flor has now completed 6 out of the 21 chemotherapy sessions initially planned. Depending on her progress, the treatment may be extended or shortened, but for now, it is expected to finish between April and May.

Thankfully, she has responded well to the treatment. Although she faces intense pain daily, her spirits and mental state remain strong. She has also shown significant improvements:

✅ She is gradually regaining her weight.

✅ She is walking better every day (no longer using a wheelchair).

✅ Her thrombosis is improving significantly.

✅ Her bladder infection is under control for the first time in almost a year.

✅ Her kidneys are less inflamed and functioning well.

These improvements fill us with hope, but the road ahead is still long. We will need your help again, as the medications are very costly. Some are available through Venezuelan social security (IVSS), but many are not. Here are the details:
