Hola a todes!

Soy un hombre trans activista venezolano y resido en Venezuela, llevo más de 10 años en transición y es momento de realizar mi mastectomia, la cuál me es y ha sido todo este tiempo imposible costear debido a la situación económica de mi país, un país donde la salud pública es riesgosa y los hospitales públicos no tienen insumos médicos. Estoy acudiendo al servicio médico privado debido a todo esto.

Actualmente me dedico a la barbería, soy barbero a domicilio, sin embargo mis ingresos no me permiten más que solventar las cuentas del mes. Tampoco tengo la opción de pedir un crédito bancario en mi país.

En el presupuesto también incluyo parte de mi recuperación y los medicamentos que requiera, ya que tendría que guardar reposo y se me dificulta no generar ningún ingreso ya que soy padre y cuidador de mi hijo.

Sería inmensamente feliz con esta cirugía, aparte, podría desenvolverme más cómodamente mientras trabajo y realizo mis actividades cotidianas sin la compresión de mi pecho, práctica que llevo haciendo desde los inicios de mi transición, es decir, diez años y sugiere un riesgo para mi salud.

Hello everyone!

I am a Venezuelan trans activist man and I live in Venezuela, I have been in transition for more than 10 years and it is time to perform my mastectomy, which is and has been all this time impossible to afford due to the economic situation of my country, a country where public health is risky and public hospitals do not have medical supplies. I am going to the private medical service because of all this.

Currently I am a barber, I am a home barber, however my income does not allow me more than to pay the bills for the month. Nor do I have the option of requesting a bank loan in my country.

In the budget I also include part of my recovery and the medications that I require, since I would have to rest and it is difficult for me not to generate any income since I am a father and caregiver of my son.

I would be immensely happy with this surgery, besides, I could function more comfortably while I work and carry out my daily activities without compressing my chest, a practice that I have been doing since the beginning of my transition, that is, ten years and suggests a risk to my health .
