Hi everyone, my name is Erika Calderon and I am raising money to make a legal appeal.  My asylum case was denied and I am worried because I only have a few days to make the appeal.  I am the mother of two children --if I have to leave the country, I will have to take my daughter with me and leave my three year old son and their father behind.  My lawyer is asking me for $2500 just to file the paperwork--this doesn't include working on my case.  My work permit expires in a few days.  Thank you very much for your support, I am really grateful for anything you can contribute.   

Hola a todos, mi nombre es Erika Calderón y estoy recaudando fondos para hacer una apelación.  Me negaron mi caso de asilo y estoy preocupada porque tengo muy pocos días para hacer una apelación.  Soy madre de 2 hijos --si tengo que irme, tendré que llevar a mi hija y dejar a mi hijo de tres años y su papá.  Ambos tienen necesidades especiales.   El abogado me pide $2500  solo para iniciar la apelación.  Esta cantidad no incluye el precio de trabajar en mi caso.
