Help Edward to go to the CrossFit Games

Edward Peña es un joven atleta residenciado en Cabimas, Venezuela, dando sus primeros pasos en el CrossFit a los 12 años de edad. Sus esfuerzos lo han llevado a clasificar en su primera competencia a nivel nacional, logrando ganar la medalla de 3er lugar en su categoría, convirtiéndolo en el tercer joven de 14-15 años más fitness en Venezuela en el 2019. Desde entonces ha seguido entrenando con mucha constancia, disciplina y dedicación para lograr una meta soñada, representar a Venezuela en la máxima competición de CrossFit a nivel internacional, para alcanzar dicha meta Edward ha tenido que pasar por 2 etapas, el Open donde clasifican los primeros 160 atletas de la tabla, posicionándose de 25 logró entrar a la siguiente etapa, el AGOQ (Age Group Online Qualifier) el cual los primeros 20 atletas de la tabla obtendrían su pase a los CrossFit Games, clasificando así de 6to lugar en la tabla mundial Edward puede ahora representar a Venezuela en los CrossFit Games y competir para ganar el título de The Fittest Teen of the Earth.

Edward tiene mucha ilusión de poner en alto su país, debido a la situación que esta viviendo Venezuela actualmente, se necesita de tu ayuda para hacer ese sueño realidad. Como no es un secreto para nadie, los costos de logística de viaje como son traslado, hospedaje y alimentación durante su estadía son muy elevados, y no se cuenta con los recursos suficientes para poder lograr este sueño de ir a los CrossFit Games. Se sabe que Venezuela está presentando una dificultad extrema por la pandemia, sin embargo, sabemos que podemos contar con el apoyo de la comunidad para llegar a esta meta. Edward Peña is a young athlete residing in Cabimas, Venezuela, taking his first steps in CrossFit at the age of 12. His efforts have led him to qualify in his first national competition, managing to win the 3rd place medal in his category, making him the third most fitness 14-15-year-old in Venezuela in 2019. Since then he has continued training with great perseverance, discipline and dedication to achieve a dream goal, to represent Venezuela in the highest CrossFit competition at an international level. To achieve this goal, Edward has had to go through 2 stages, the Open, where the first 160 athletes in the leaderboard table classify, positioning himself in 25th place. Then, he managed to enter the next stage, the AGOQ (Age Group Online Qualifier) ​​where the first 20 athletes from the table would obtain their way to the CrossFit Games, thus ranking 6th place in the world leaderboard. Edward can now represent Venezuela at the CrossFit Games 2021 and compete to win the title of The Fittest Teen of the Earth.

Edward is very excited to represente his country, due to the situation that Venezuela is currently experiencing, he needs your help to make that dream come true. As it is not a secret for anyone, the costs of travel logistics such as transportation, accommodation and food during his stay are very high, and there are not enough funds to achieve this dream of going to the CrossFit Games.
