Él és mi papá tiene una “masa” en el muslo derecho que le crece todos los días. Necesita una cirugía para retirarla y que pueda volver a ser la gran persona que siempre ha sido y hacer lo que siempre le ha gustado, sentirse útil y disfrutar la vida junto a su Familia.
Nosotros, somos toda su atención y dedicación, está cuando más lo necesito y siempre cuento con su apoyo.

Compartimos mucho y se involucra en nuestro día a día con sus conocimientos, experiencias y valores, que me han formado en lo que hoy Soy. Desde que tengo uso de razón, siempre está muy activo con su trabajo y esfuerzo sin descanso para que contemos con todo lo que necesitamos en nuestra formación, siempre nos dice “esa es mi herencia”…Es un padre ejemplar, y teme dejar a su familia sin sustento al no poder trabajar, lo que nos mantiene preocupados sin dejar de estar ocupados.

Mi hermano Diego tiene 15 años y estudia tercer año de bachillerato, mi madre tiene 52 años, dedicada a nosotros y también trabaja mucho para apoyar en todo a mi papá, han compartido su vida entre el trabajo duro y la Familia, sin descuidar su atención hacia nuestro hogar. Con su trabajo, me han dado el ejemplo de lo que es constancia y responsabilidad; y yo me llamo como mi papá, tengo 19 años, estudio primer año de Medicina lo que me ha sensibilizado aún más con este hallazgo en su salud y de lo que nos tocará a todos aprender.

Requiere lo más pronto posible una cirugía para extirparle esa “masa” de la pierna, la cual está ubicada debajo del músculo muy cerca del hueso, le duele y le está dificultando caminar como antes. Si la cirugía se hace a tiempo, solo hay que extirpar el tumor y unos centímetros de tejido normal alrededor de éste, si es así, el postoperatorio será más rápido, mi padre va a recuperar su movilidad y volver a ser la persona que siempre ha sido. Pero si el tratamiento se tarda demasiado y el tumor infiltra más órganos adyacentes, la resección tendría que ser más agresiva, pudiendo dejarlo incapacitado e inclusive podría suceder algo peor.

Cualquier acción que esté a tu alcance será valiosa y generará otra oportunidad para mi Papá. Sumando pequeños esfuerzos salen grandes resultados. Todos los días suceden milagros, estoy aprendiendo a percibirlos y ser agradecido. Dios se los multiplique en salud para toda su Familia.

He's my dad, he has a "mass" on his right thigh that grows every day. He needs surgery to remove it so that he can go back to being the great person he has always been and do what he has always loved, feel useful and enjoy life with his Family. We are all his attention and dedication, he is always there when we need it most and we count with his support. We share a lot and he gets involved in our day to day with his knowledge, experiences and values, which have formed me in what I am today.  Since I can remember, he is always very active with his work and effort without rest so that we have everything we need in our formation, he always tells us "that is my inheritance"... He is an exemplary father, and he is afraid to leave his family without support because he cannot work, which keeps us worried while we are busy.

My brother Diego is 15 years old and is in his third year of high school, my mother is 52 years old, dedicated to us and also works a lot to support my father in everything, they have shared their life between hard work and Family, without neglecting their attention to our home. With their work, they have given me the example of what is constancy and responsibility; and I am named after my father, I am 19 years old, I am studying the first year of Medicine which has made me even more sensitive to this finding in his health and what we will all have to learn.

He needs surgery as soon as possible to remove that "mass" in his leg, which is located under the muscle very close to the bone, it hurts and it is difficult to walk as before. If the surgery is done in time, all that is needed is to remove the tumor and a few inches of normal tissue around it. If that is the case, the post-operative period will be faster, and my father will regain his mobility and return to being the person he has always been. But if the treatment takes too long and the tumor infiltrates more adjacent organs, the resection would have to be more aggressive, which could leave him disabled and something worse could happen. Any action that is within your reach will be valuable and will generate another opportunity for my Dad.

Adding up small efforts yields great results. Every day miracles happen, I am learning to perceive them and be grateful. God will multiply them in health for all his Family.
