Hi, my name is Diego Andres Baeza; I am 43 years old and will share my story with you. The last 72 hours have been the most critical in my life…. On Friday, November 25, at night, I had a strong convulsion caused by the tumors I have in my brain. As a result, I fell down and hit my head severely. This left me unconscious with an internal hemorrhage. Unfortunately, I was alone in my house, and they found me 9 hours later on the floor. I was unconscious, unable to move, and almost without a heartbeat. I was taken to the hospital in a coma. They thought I was dead, but suddenly, I had a movement in my body that signaled the doctors to proceed with surgery.

On Saturday, November 26, I had an emergency surgery that took 6 hours. They found severe bleeding; the doctors could clean and stop it during the surgery. At the same time, they removed one of the three tumors I have in my head.

I am in a critical stage, fighting to live in an induced coma and being intubated. I pray faithfully to be with my kids again and enjoy life. I have always been a fighter, a happy person that has always given my best.

From the bottom of my heart, I am asking you, through my family and friends, for your solidarity to cover the medical expenses of this situation. With your help, I will be able to keep on fighting this battle. Thank you for all your support and your prayers!

Hola, soy Diego Andrés Baeza tengo 43 años y les voy a contar mi historia las últimas 72 horas más críticas de mi vida…

La noche del viernes 25 de noviembre, tuve una fuerte convulsión provocada por los tumores que tengo en mi cerebro. Caí al piso recibiendo un fuerte golpe en mi cabeza, que me dejó inconsciente y provocó una hemorragia interna. Lastimosamente estaba solo y aproximadamente 9 horas más tarde entraron a mi departamento y me encontraron botado en el piso, inmóvil y casi sin pulsaciones. Me llevaron al hospital en estado de coma.

Me daban por muerto hasta que tuve un movimiento en mi cuerpo y fue la señal para que los doctores decidan operarme. El día sábado 26 de noviembre me sometieron a una operación de emergencia que duró alrededor de 6 horas. En donde encontraron una fuerte hemorragia, que la pudieron controlar y limpiar. A su vez lograron extraer 1 de los 3 tumores que tengo en mi cabeza.

En este momento, estoy en estado crítico luchando por vivir. Inducido en coma e intubado.

Encomendado a Dios, con mucha fe de volver a estar con mis hijos, de volver a cantar y disfrutar de la vida.

Siempre he sido un luchador, un guerrero, una persona alegre, que le he puesto actitud a la vida.

En estos momentos tan duros, les pido de todo corazón su solidaridad, para poder sustentar los gastos médicos que se vienen y así poder continuar con esta batalla.
