Hola, somos Iván y Leire, y esta es nuestra perrita Nube, una Husky Siberiana de 5 años. Nube es la perrita más maravillosa que os podéis imaginar, siempre ha sido muy cariñosa y activa, le encanta correr por la montaña y zambullirse en todos los ríos y lagos a los que vamos. Hace unos meses, nos mudamos a Múnich (Alemania) por estudios, pero la suerte no ha estado de nuestro lado. Como podéis ver, Nube tuvo un accidente el sábado 19 de agosto donde se rompió las dos patas delanteras.

El incidente ocurrió cuando estábamos en casa de un amigo. Nube se quedó sola por un momento mientras íbamos al punto limpio a tirar algunas cajas. De alguna manera, suponemos que por estrés, terminó saltando desde el balcón (un tercer piso), una decisión que todavía nos cuesta comprender. Gracias a la rápida acción de los vecinos, fue llevada al veterinario más cercano, donde trataron sus heridas y le dieron medicación para el dolor. Desde allí, la remitieron a una clínica especializada donde nos informaron que necesita cirugía en ambas patas delanteras. Afortunadamente, no hay lesiones internas importantes, pero su pata derecha está rota en varios lugares y los ligamentos de su pata izquierda están desgarrados.

La clínica ya nos ha informado de las facturas a pagar por las operaciones: 2.600€ por la primera cirugía de la pata derecha y 3.000€ por la izquierda. Los gastos del primer veterinario nos costaron 174€ que pagamos al momento. Las operaciones de la clínica, junto con todas las revisiones y cambios de vendaje posteriores, tras mucho insistir, tenemos la posibilidad de ir pagándolas a plazos. Además, durante las primeras 6-8 semanas nos han recomendado comprarle un arnés adaptado que nos permita ayudarla a moverse con más libertad. Un artículo más para añadir a la lista de gastos.

Estamos haciendo todo lo posible para reunir el dinero por nuestra cuenta, pero cualquier apoyo que consigamos, por pequeño que sea, significaría un mundo para nosotros. Nuestro único deseo es darle a Nube la mejor atención posible para que pueda curarse y recuperarse por completo.

Hi, we're Iván and Leire, and this is our dog Nube, a 5-year-old Siberian Husky. Nube is the most wonderful dog you can imagine, she's always been very affectionate and active, she loves running in the mountains and diving into all the rivers and lakes we go to. A few months ago, we moved to Munich (Germany) for study reasons, but luck hasn't been on our side. As you can see, Nube had an accident on Saturday, August 21st, where she broke both of her front legs.

The incident happened when we were at a friend's house. Nube was alone for a moment while we went to drop off some boxes. Somehow, we assume due to stress, she ended up jumping from the balcony (a third-floor), a decision that we are still struggling to comprehend. Thanks to the quick action of the neighbours, she was taken to the nearest vet, where they treated her wounds and provided pain medication. From there, she was referred to a specialized clinic where we were informed that she needs surgery on both legs. Fortunately, there are no major internal injuries, but her right leg is broken in several places and the ligaments in her left leg are torn.

The clinic has already informed us of the bills to pay for the surgeries: 2,600€ for the first surgery on the right leg and 3.000€ for the left leg. The expenses from the initial vet cost us 174€, which we paid on the spot. For the clinic surgeries, along with all the subsequent reviews and bandage changes, after much insistence, we have the option to pay in instalments. Additionally, during the first 6-8 weeks, we have been recommended to buy her an adapted harness that will allow us to help her move more freely. Another item to add to the list of expenses.

We're doing everything we can to gather the money on our own, but any support we can get, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. Our sole wish is to give Nube the best possible care so she can heal and fully recover.
