Habia ido a urgencias con lo que pensaba que era un dolor de muela. Lo que se vio a continuacion en las exploraciones cambiaria su vida y la de su familia para siempre. Sus biopsias revelaron una forma rara y agresiva de cancer. Despues de enterarse Arling asido bien fuerte y luchadora. Tiene dos hijos pequeńos, Jade, que tiene 7 ańos y Mateo, recientemente cumplio 5 ańos de edad. Ellos son su mundo absoluto, su razon de vivir para seguir luchando dia a dia. Sus medicos han elaborado un plan muy agresivo que hasta ahora incluye una combinacion de quimioterapia. Ella se tiene que ingresar al hospital por cuatro dias para recibir el tratamiento. Entonces su esposo Jimmy por ahora no esta trabajando por que necesita cuidar de ella y de sus nińos. En este momento tienen dificultades para cubrir sus gastos medicos y medicina.
