Hola, soy Amy Macias :))!

Desde pequeña he tenido el sueño de estudiar en el extranjero y dedicar mi vida al servicio y a la ciencia. Hoy estoy dando ese gran paso al iniciar mis estudios en Brigham Young University–Idaho (BYUI), donde curso la carrera de Biology | Applied Lab Science, con la meta de posteriormente aplicar al programa de Enfermería.

Durante los últimos años he trabajado con dedicación y esfuerzo para reunir lo que esté a mi alcance para poder acercarme a este sueño. Gracias a la oportunidad que se me ha dado, y con la fe puesta en Dios! Estoy por comenzar una nueva etapa llena de ilusión, aprendizaje y crecimiento.

Estoy muyyyy agradecida por el apoyo que siempre he recibido de mi familia, profesores y amigos, quienes han creído en mí incluso en los momentos más desafiantes. Su ejemplo y cariño me inspiran a seguir avanzando con gratitud, constancia, esperanza y muchas ganas más.

Amo la ciencia y el servicio a los demás. Mi mayor deseo es seguir preparándome para poder ayudar y cuidar a las personas de una manera más profunda. Además, me emociona tener la oportunidad de conocer una nueva cultura y personas con diferentes perspectivas, aprendiendo de cada experiencia para convertirme en una mejor profesional y ser humano.

Cada aporte, por pequeño que sea, será un paso más hacia este propósito.

Hello, my name is Amy Macias :))!

Since I was little, I’ve dreamed of studying abroad and dedicating my life to both science and service. Today, that dream is becoming a reality as I begin my studies at Brigham Young University–Idaho (BYUI), majoring in Biology | Applied Lab Science, with the goal of later applying to the Nursing program.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked hard to save and prepare for this opportunity. With faith in God and a heart full of hope, I’m stepping into this new chapter of learning and growth with gratitude and excitement.

I’m deeply thankful for the love and encouragement of my family, teachers, and friends, who have supported me and believed in me every step of the way. Their example has taught me the importance of perseverance, faith, and gratitude in achieving our dreams.

I truly love science and serving others! My greatest desire is to continue learning so that I can help and care for people in a deeper and more meaningful way. I’m also excited to experience a new culture, meet new people, and learn from diverse perspectives, which I believe will help me grow both personally and professionally.

Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings me one step closer to this goal.
