My name is Tibi and I am here requesting your kind donation to help me and my brother to cover the costs for our dad's treatment.

My dad Agustin, who is 79 years old and lives in Venezuela, was diagnosed with liver cancer in April 2023. He had 3 tumours in his liver and was recommended by the Oncologist to get immune therapy which my brother and I were paying for. As you might know, in Venezuela the public health system is very poor so we had to do this through the private sector. Although the treatment worked, as 2 of the tumours disappeared and the biggest one was reduced almost to half, my dad had gastrointestinal bleeding which has caused that my dad got weaker and spent days in the hospital. We have already spent about USD 21,000 and now the new treatment to keep helping him to combat this illness will include sessions of radiotherapy which are more expensive than the previous one.

My dad is a good man, very positive and always happy. Friends who know him are aware that his motto is Animo para Vivir, which roughly translates to Desire to live.

Inspite of the circumstances, he has an intense desire to get better and continue living life to the fullest...

Mi nombre es Tibi y estoy aquí pidiendo tu colaboración para ayudar a mi y a mi hermano a costear los gastos del tratamiento de mi papá.

Mi papá Agustin, quien tiene 79 años y vive en Venezuela, fue diagnosticado en Abril del 2023 con cáncer de hígado. Lamentablemente se le encontraron 3 tumores en su hígado, así que inmediatamente se empezó con inmunoterapia, para ayudar a reducir los tumores. Los costos que incluye consultas con el doctor, el médicamento, exámenes de laboratorio y tomografías lo hemos pagado entre mi hermano y yo ya que como ustedes saben la salud pública en Venezuela está muy mal así que por eso lo hemos realizado en clínicas privadas. A pesar de que el tratamiento ha dado resultados, ya que los dos tumores más pequeños desaparecieron y el más grande se redujo casi a la mitad, mi papá ha presentado complicaciones con sangrados gastrointestinales lo cual han hecho que mi papá estuviera hospitalizado. Hemos gastado aproximadamente USD 21,000 y ahora el nuevo tratamiento para seguir combatiendo esta enfermedad incluye sesiones de radioterapia haciendo que este tratamiento sea mas costoso que el anterior.

Mi papá es un buen hombre, siempre alegre y positivo. Las personas que lo conocen saben muy bien que su motto es Animo para Vivir..!! A pesar de las circunstancias, el tiene un enorme deseo de seguir mejorando y vivir su vida plenamente. Por esta razón estoy aquí pidiendo tu aporte para ayudarnos a poder pagar los gastos que implica este nuevo tratamiento. Por más pequeña que sea tu aporte para nosotros sera de gran ayuda.
