Robyn Ayton, loving wife to Chris Ayton and mother to Tim, Matt, and Sam, sadly passed away this June after battling cancer for five years.
Everybody who knew Robyn would agree that she was one vibrant, unique, humorous and beautiful soul, touching the lives of her family members and surrounding community profoundly.
Chris Ayton stood by his wife every step of the way throughout her battle, providing support, spending nights in hospital and perpetually making her tea every afternoon, while spending his life savings on various treatments for Robyn, hoping for her recovery. He's now left with the pain of losing his wife and the financial burden of accumulated medical bills over the years.
A Memorial Surf Contest will be held at Nine Mile Beach in Belmont, NSW where the family has called home for the last thirty-two years. The event will be in honor of Robyn's life and a fundraiser to help relieve Chris of some of the costs of medical bills.
