Cancer Sucks

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Bob. I was diagnosed with liver cancer in November of 2017. I had multiple tumors and surgery was not an option. I was put on the liver transplant list in January of 2018. I received the
Gift of Life, my new liver on October 29, 2018. My recovery went well and I was back to work and enjoying life again within 3 months. I will be on anti-rejection / immune suppressive medication for the rest of my life. These medications keep my donated liver compatible with my body. These medication also lower my immune system, my bodies ability to fight off recurring cancer and disease. During a routine CT scan in June of this year a new tumor was detected in my liver. The Doctors determined removing the effected area by a resection of my liver was the best option and I had surgery on August 17, 2021. I am recovering again and will be starting new drug treatments to continue my fight with against cancer.

I retired in January of this year and have only been working part time. The medical cost and reduced income has greatly impacted my family financially.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Please share my story!!
