Help Jada Beat Cancer

Donation protected
In February 2021, Jadaly Cedeno - known to her friends and family as Jada - started to feel pains in the back of her knee. Thinking she had injured it working out, she ignored her pains and carried on with her life. As months prolonged, the pain began to get worse to the point of her not being able to walk. In May of 2021, right before her 22nd birthday, Jada went to the doctor to have her leg evaluated. It was then that doctor's noticed a tumor the size of a golf ball behind her knee. Doctor's had decided to get it tested for cancer and by June 2021, the tumor had grown rapidly to the size of a softball as well as tested positive for Stage 2 Osteosarcoma Cancer. Shattered completely by the news, her friends and family rushed to find the best doctors and hospitals in Buffalo to help her fight this impending battle against cancer. With high hopes, Jada faced every battle head on completing 10 weeks of intense chemo before finding out if they can remove the large tumor or if they would have to remove her leg. In October 2021, Jada heard the first good news she heard since being diagnosed with Osteosarcoma; the tumor had shrunk enough that doctors could perform surgery to remove it. Although she was about to face a gruesome 10 hour surgery with no insight on if she would be able to keep her leg, Jada was a pillar of positivity and promise. After the excruciating surgery, Jada received her second wave of good news... the tumor was removed completely, there was no sign of the cancer spreading, and she was able to keep her leg! Currently, Jada is in her last leg of chemo with an expected end date of March 2022. She has yet to regain any feeling in her leg nor can she move it due to nerve damage, but is optimistic that she will one day walk, play and run again with her little boy, Izzy.

My sister Jada is the definition of a warrior. While the world shut down and a pandemic hit us all, she was given an unfair task of battling cancer. Cancer is not cheap, and although we have tried our best as a family to financially support her and her 2 year old son, we are struggling. I am humbly requesting financial support to assist Jada. My sister is a smart, hard-working, young mother, and has been through hell and back . I appreciate any and all generous donations and I am eternally grateful in advance.

From Jada:
As a lot of you may know, I’ve been battling cancer for almost a year now. February was the first time I noticed something was wrong with me but I ignored it. Not only have I been diagnosed with cancer, but it took over my whole life! From my everyday functions, not walking for a year, to not being able to take care of my 2 year old child because I couldn’t even take care of myself at a point. My family stopped working, called off so many days just to be there for me. It would be greatly appreciated if you all support me. A like, share, comment goes a long way and this event will be one to remember! I hope to see everybody there. Thank you so much in advance to all who donate #TEAMJADA
