It's hard to ask for help,
but we have borrowed until we are unable to borrow anymore. Every family member has helped as much as possible by working and studying. All we are aiming for is to keep the house and utilities up to date for the family as well as medical treatments, ultimately, we are looking to keep the family together and healthy in a stable environment.
Recent hardships have fallen on our family which prohibit us from being able to climb out of the debt we are facing, such as:
-Dad had a positition as Finance Director at Autonation. After three years, dealership was sold and he was let go due to inability to perform due to deteriorating health
-Severe degenerating bone discs in entire neck and bone causing extreme weakness and pain in leg and arm
-Procedure needed to relieve pain in lower back for right leg has been unable to be operated
-Seeing multiple doctors every month, going to physical therapy two times a week
-Rear ended car accident causing pain in neck -Unstable health conditions
-Month and a half behind house rent
-Behind on car payments and utilities
With my father's deteriorating health, he is unable to fully work as he did before. The doctors have stated that he should not even be walking, yet he still goes out to work every chance he is able to in his current part time position, which requires walking everyday. My mom has had to apply for different positions in multiple jobs while already working full time in the education system.
As my sister and I are in college, school expenses are struggling to be covered as we both are working to try and help. What matters most to my dad is seeing us graduate in order to avoid any financial issues we are currently having in the future. Any contribution would greatly help and each one goes towards another day my father does not have to get up and go to work.
