AYLEEN & RYAN APATHY

A fellow labor and delivery nurse and dearest of friends came home today after being out with her family to find her home burned down. Losing everything they owned, their most cherished keepsakes, and worst of all, their beloved  dog Mack. I thank God that she and her family were spared any harm but my heart breaks for her imagining myself in those shoes. I know I speak for everyone on our unit when I say that we are not just coworkers, we are family, sisters! There isn’t anything  we wouldn’t do for each other. Her husband, also an ICU nurse at our hospital is part of our amazing Mercy  family! Please find it in your hearts to help in any way you can.... No amount is too small and every little bit will help. Thank you.
