I lost my best friend and the love of my life today. I had to make the devastating decision to let go of him.

It's been a rough couple of years with his health. But after a long battle, we had such high hopes. He was getting better and giving us hope that the bad was finally going to be behind us. We started talking about the future and what we needed to do to get life back to normal. We were making plans to finally go camping with the grandbabies next summer and all the stuff we were finally going to be able to do.

Then this past Tuesday, fate had a different path for us. We lost him to a heart attack. It snuck up on us with no warning, and it was fast. With all his issues, this wasn't in the cards.

He was only 53. We weren't prepared for this. I am at a loss for what I'm going to do and how I'm going to handle life now.

But I have the painful task of asking for help. We have no funds, insurance, or policies to help with the cremation or any bills that are going to hit us. Any help is greatly appreciated and will help us through these next coming weeks.

I just don't know what we are going to do.
