By necessity, I have predominantly been a stay-at-home mom to my five kids, but my marriage is ending. My husband’s years of ongoing job loss have left us without stable income or reserves. I am actively applying and interviewing for work, but hiring timelines can be slow, and recent severe winter storms have significantly affected those delicate timelines, making my situation urgent.

I need immediate short-term help to keep the kids and me housed and in possession of a car while I secure employment. This is not a long-term situation—I’m working hard to stabilize things—but I can’t bridge the gap alone.
