Kimber has always been the happiest dog when she’s chasing a ball across the yard, ears flopping and tail wagging like it could power the world. She could play fetch from sunrise to sunset if you’d let her, bringing the ball back every time with that proud little smile only dogs can manage. More than anything, Kimber is full of love—she greets everyone like an old friend and always wants to be near her people, soaking up every bit of affection she can.

Recently, Kimber, a 7 year old American Staffy, tore her CCL, the ligament in her hind leg, and now she struggles to walk, let alone run or play the game she loves most. Watching her limp and lie quietly instead of bounding around breaks our hearts. She needs surgery to repair her leg and get back to being the playful, happy girl she’s always been. I’m only asking for help covering the minimum cost of the procedure—just enough to make her surgery possible. The rest I will find a way to cover myself.
