Sarah and Jeremy first met at Barnes and Noble, fell in love and got married. Shortly after their wedding in 2010 their world was turned upside down. Jeremy was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. The doctors were able to kill the tumor but because of its placement were unable to remove it. The doctors were able to temporarily relieve the pain, but the pain would always come back. For the past nine years Jeremy has been getting treatments for the pain with variable success. In 2018 Jeremy started having seizures. The doctors then found another tumor in his brain. The new tumor is of the slow growing type so the doctors are concentrating on giving him some relief from the pain and seizures. These medical issues have not allowed Jeremy to work much during the last 9 years. However, when he can, he does. Sarah is dedicated preschool teacher working full time.
The financial burden is heavy with medical bills and lifestyle changes. Since the seizures have begun Jeremy is unable to drive. This adds another financial burden to them, transportation to and from medical appointments and work is costly.
We are asking for help for Sarah and Jeremy. As they travel this journey together it would be helpful to lighten their load. They will use the donations for transportation costs, medical bills and daily living.
Despite the struggles this couple remains strong, committed to living each day together in a positive way. They share a love for games, the ocean, good eats and friends. We hope you can support them in this time of hardship.
