That is my friend, Ayesha — a giver. Ayesha NuRa is a published author, poet, community organizer, and empowerment coach. She’s a sister, daughter, and mother who gives her love, gifts, and devotion to the community around her with no end.
After many years of endless giving and two years of continuous health issues, Ayesha needs support.
Ayesha was recently diagnosed with Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease, usually referred to as End Stage, at the age of 38. This diagnosis comes after she suffered a stroke that ravaged her body and uncovered a genetic mutation that made her susceptible to kidney disease.
Ayesha was already grappling with a major financial setback as a result of the COVID-19 business shutdowns and a major car accident that left her with 6 herniated discs, high medical bills, and a totaled car.
Ayesha has been doing her best to navigate kidney failure through dialysis while still being a mother to her son and taking care of her physical health. Without consistent income, these challenges have piled up, adding stress to her already delicate state.
With your communal support, we will be able to support Ayesha with:
● Necessities like housing, food, and transportation to appointments
● Medication
● Help cover medical expenses
● Kick-off the search for a kidney transplant donor
