Our dearest boy Sancho locked eyes on a bushy tailed squirrel across the street from our home. He had just stepped paw out the front door and before my eyes Sancho was sprinting towards the squirrel. Unfortunately, a car was coming at the same moment. Sanchos leg was run over and brutally broken. The car took off, without even a word or a glance. We rushed him to the emergency room as fast as we could. Sancho is having emergency surgery to repair the leg and it will be a lengthy recovery process, 8 weeks in total. With multiple check ups and more X-rays to come to ensure the plates and screws are working correctly.  We appreciate all the help we can get,  please share with all your fellow dog lovers!
