On Sunday 2/20/22, Ayden De Luna, age 12 from Valley View TX, was in a very serious accident which resulted in the loss of his arm and a Careflight to Dallas Children’s Hospital. Unfortunately, the hospital was unable to re-attach his arm back to his body. Out of privacy and respect for Ayden, we are purposely leaving out specifics of the accident to allow him to not relive any part of the trauma should he read this post. Everything that has happened from Sunday onward has been a very traumatic process for everyone in his family. They know they are still on the road to recovery, with a prosthetic arm coming up, but he has made outstanding progress so far. He has a couple more days left in the ICU with scheduled surgeries in the coming days and/weeks, but has been a brave boy and holds hope for what’s next.
When all is said and done, I know there will be hefty medical bills for him and they won’t be able to afford it themselves, so we are asking for donations towards this and everything that follows after. We ask that you keep Ayden and his family in your prayers and spread the word
