Ayden Kiel Douglas Rooker

November 7, 1999 – February 14, 2026

It is with unimaginable heartbreak that we share the passing of our beloved Ayden.

From the very beginning, he was gentle. As a little boy, he had the softest heart and the sweetest smile. As he grew into a young man, that kindness never left him. Ayden was always polite, always respectful, and especially compassionate toward those who had less than him. He carried empathy naturally — it was simply who he was.

He loved skateboarding — the freedom, the creativity, the feeling. He loved travelling, meeting new people, and discovering the world in his own way. He had a quiet strength and a presence that drew people in. He could start a conversation with anyone. Set to leave for the Phillipines and get away his life was taken too soon.

More than anything, Ayden loved his family and his friends. He valued connection. He valued loyalty. He valued love. He will share a special place in heaven with Mama Hackett, Zailey and Luca.

Our hearts are shattered, but we are holding tightly to the memories — the laughter, the adventures, the quiet moments, and the beautiful soul he shared with us for 26 years.

A Celebration of Life will be planned soon in Calgary. Details will be shared when arrangements are finalized. The funds raised will go towards expenses for Aydens celebration of life and other unimaginable costs associated with laying your child to rest.

Thank you for your support, your patience, your prayers, and your kindness during this time of profound grief. It means more than words can say.
