AYAYA aims to teach with what YOU give!
The African Youth and Young Adults (AYAYA) was formed with the mission to uplift underprivileged children of the African Continent by empowering youth of the diaspora to engage in community service, cultural immersion and innovation.
Technology connects youth in Nigeria and across the Africa Continent. In recent years, Nigeria has grown to become the tech center of the African Continent, particularly with the increase in investment, both foreign and local, in Nigerian entrepreneurs and startups.

AYAYA believes that technical and digital skills should be harnessed by all youth regardless of their socioeconomic class, so this year we are focusing on our promise of promoting innovation in Africa by building on our STEM initiatives! Specifically, increasing digital literacy in Nigeria. We are providing laptops to low-income students and immersing them in important technical skills by partnering with incubators and hubs like The Root Hub and Gallery of Code. Our goal is to reach more youth and more regions of the country!
What we've done so far:
- Distributed 30 laptops to 2 technology hubs in two cities and one learning center in rural Nigeria
- Partnered with the Roothub to launch 2 four week web development courses for young adults
- Partnered with Roothub to launch a tech boot camp for kids
There's still work to do! Our goal is to:
- Launch a laptop training program at two orphanages
- Sponsor (2-3) laptops for the two orphanages
- Support our rural learning center with more laptops, software, and security (Tech hub shouldn't just be in cities, they should be everywhere!)
Your donation will go towards making these goals possible. Thank you for investing in the future of Africa!
