AYAT Channel Funding

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa-raḥmatullāhi wa-barakātuh dear brothers and sisters, we hope you are in the best state of health and imān inshaAllah.

What is AYAT?

When we started our YouTube channel (AYAT) on July 2015, we never imagined that our Channel would reach this extent one day. We started creating high quality educational quranic videos with 3 core elements: Arabic, Translation and Transliteration.

Our goal is to present the words of God as clearly and simple as possible in order for us to memorize them, reflect on them, and integrate them into our lives. In order to reach that goal, we aim to upload all 114 Surahs (Chapters) so everyone will always have a resource for learning the Qur'an online.

We started off small, however with Allah's help we were able to reach over 1 million subscribers and +100 million video views. Just imagining all these people watching our videos is very humbling and we feel very grateful to be in this position.

Why do we need your financial support?

Creating these videos can be very time consuming as we try to provide translations and transliterations in all our videos – this is how many of you memorize the Qur’an most efficiently. A lot of efforts (e.g. providing the footage, recording, graphics, editing, etc...) are required for the production of only one video. We alone are not capable for covering the whole costs since we have no other financial means. Reason being that most of our videos are copyrighted and generate income only for the original copyright owners. That means, that we're currently earning very little from monetization through YouTube.

Furthermore, these copyright owners could decide any moment to take our videos offline, or even worse, to give us strikes, so our channel would be taken down permanently. But with your help we can still turn things around and build something bigger and better even at this time of hardship.

We are now trying to take it to the next level by offering more translations and a more scheduled content for you. We will also try to engage more with you, taking your video requests into account and produce more videos with copyrightfree images and footage for production inshaAllah.

- Video Editing & Visual Graphics (Creative Cloud)

- YouTube Studio (Equipment Costs: PC, Camera, Network Attached Storage etc.)

- Copyright Free Video Footage Costs (Artgrid, Storyblocks etc.)

- Creating new series (Rabbana Series, Hajj Series, Ramadan specials etc.)

- Costs related to hiring staff to produce videos in other languages or provide other services

- 3D Animations & other Exclusive Graphics (add ons)

- Expanding our services on other and new platforms

- Issues regarding legal and tax advice

- Further costs and fees in marketing and brand building

How your funds will be delivered to AYAT?

Your funds will be received/withdrawn by me, the owner of AYAT and will be fully spent on the channel costs.

InshaAllah with more supporters we can increase the budget for our videos and you will notice a rise in frequency and quality!
