Hello! My name is Ayanna Hargrove and I recently just got accepted into UAB! I am currently a junior majoring in biology, and I am trying to earn my bachelor's so I can attend vet school and become a veterinarian. The school I got accepted into is located in Birmingham, Alabama, and I am currently prepping to move two hours away from my hometown to finish pursuing my bachelor's degree.

Moving two hours away from home will not be easy and there are so many things to do before I make the big move. My school’s housing options are currently at max capacity, which leaves me with no housing to stay on campus. I was hoping to stay on campus, but not everything goes the way I would like. My mother and I were searching high and low for other housing options and we have narrowed it down to a few options.

I will be working while I am attending school, but I would like to start working in September at the latest so I can have time to adjust to my school schedule and my new environment. I have created this GoFundMe to try to obtain housing and other school-related expenses so I will not have to sit out this semester due to my university not having available housing.
