Hello All,

My name is Abigail Cooper and I am employed at NeuroRestorative Timber Ridge Ranch, a Post-Acute Traumatic Brain Injury Rehab Facility in Benton, AR. I have been asked by a very special man to write this touching story.

On February 23, 2016, Gary Worsham, found himself under 6,000 pounds of steel in the form of 10 I-beams. Gary was working at AFCO Steel in Little Rock, AR. He wasn't found for nearly 20 minutes because his co-workers were on away on break. Gary recalls the tragic event and says, "Everyone thought I was dead." Gary was rushed to UAMS where he coded twice and suffered multiple serious injuries including: internal bleeding, a shattered kneecap, fractured pelvis, and broken leg.  Gary has now recovered enough to be clinically accepted to NeuroRestorative Timber Ridge Ranch, he is up walking and talking and thanking God each and every day for bringing him through this experience.

The reason he has asked my help in creating this Go Fund Me account is not because he needs help with medical bills but because of his 19 year old daughter, Ayanna. Ayanna is currently a student at UCA in Conway, AR pursuing a Business Administration Degree. Up until Gary's accident in February he was the sole provider for him and his family. Ayanna's mother passed away much too soon when she was just 3 years old. Ayanna is in need of tuition to continue her education at UCA. With her father in rehab, Ayanna is unable to meet financial requirements to continue at UCA. She must pay $4,000 by December 15, 2016 to the university to carry on chasing her dreams. While in the hospital, Gary's identity was stolen and any money he had is tied up in his legal case. Anyone who knows Gary knows that he is a cheerful and spirited guy who has had a bad run of luck this year. Since his stay here at Timber Ridge he is always striving to put a smile on the face of those around him. As you can imagine this is a trying time for Gary and his family surrounding his accident.

As the humbled messenger of Gary and Ayanna's story I am truly touched and called to ask any who can, please give. Your donation will not go unused or wasted; you would be investing in the education of a young girl whose dreams are just within her reach. Everyone has hardships in life and need a helping hand, be that helping hand for Gary and his precious daughter.

The Worsham family would like me to thank each of you in advance for your kind donation. Each donation will be one step closer to Ayanna's dream and one step closer to Gary's sole focus being his recovery.
