Hello! My name is Aya; I am an Indigenous 2-Spirit land defender displaced from the Blackfoot Nation, seeking help with transportation, gear, and basic living expenses while defending my Peoples Land. As an Indigenous person, the fight for our Land is intrinsically linked to our existence. This journey has been a deep calling for me to take a stand with my relatives and Land Defenders to fight against the continued Colonization of our people and our Land. To echo the words of Kanahus, an Indigenous Land Defender I look up to, "We are not criminals. We are Indigenous Human Rights Defenders defending our Title and Rights to our unceded territories."
