Aya & Flare's GTFO-Of-Georgia Fund

Hello!

Many of you all know me just as Aya, or Ayasu, your friendly blue red panda VTuber.

I'm creating this GoFundMe as a means for my partner and I to finally get out of the kinda shitty living situation we're in. To put it simply -- we're stuck and we need out VERY quickly!

We're stuck living in very rural Georgia. Ideally, we want to get out of this state and move on to a place we think is better. We've unfortunately not been able to put money aside, as every single time we get some increase in the amount of funds we earn, bills and rent raise to eat that up entirely, or some emergency comes up to eat whatever savings we do get.

While I'm not comfortable stating where it is we're planning on moving, I can say that we did the math and it'd cost well over $5000 to make this move. That covers the moving truck, gas, deposits (pet, security), flying a friend out to help drive the Uhaul, etc. -- so we can get out of where we are and into a place we're more comfortable.

We've been living where we are for a number of years, and there are some pretty big issues with the plumbing and the HVAC unit for this house.

For example - the toilets clog and overflow constantly which has led to some water damage in the floor, as well as downstairs, from the water leaking through the floor. We've told the landlords multiple times that there was something wrong with the plumbing that causes the toilets to overflow and not drain well constantly. Instead of trying to fix it, they blamed it on us for "using too much toilet paper" and "using the wrong kind of toilet paper (???)". Additionally, the one time they DID send someone over to look at the toilet, all the guy did was plunge it really hard, and then apparently took photos of our toilet(which, admittedly, needed a cleaning since... I was sick at the time... yeah..) and forwarded them to our landlords, claiming we were "destroying the house." This was 2 years ago -- and now they've been coming to do a "walk through" inspection every 5-6 months because of it.

Additionally, the AC unit, which is in the attic above our bedroom, has "leaked" a few times, causing water to drip into the bedroom through the ceiling. This is apparently due to issues with the drain line for the AC being clogged. The last time we had a guy here for it, he explained it to us. Instead of actually trying to do something about this, our landlords instead told us to put one of those shower hair trap things in our tub... because they think the AC and the tub are connected to the same drain (???).

These are just a few of the myriad of issues we've had with these people, and the most recent issues we've had with the AC and plumbing have just driven us over the edge -- we need out of this house and unfortunately, our lease is up at the end of November, meaning... We need out fast.

(The extra money added to the campaign is to cover some wiggle room, and, unfortunately, for the amount GFM charges per donation.)

Here's a bit of a breakdown of how the funds would be used:

Deposits
Pet Deposit: ~$1200 (We have 2 dogs, 2 cats)
Security Deposit: ~$1300
Total: ~$2500

Vehicles
U-Haul: ~$1650
Gas (U-Haul): ~$450
Gas (Car): ~$100
Flight for Helper Friend: ~$350
Total: ~$2550

Overall Total Required to move: ~$5050

Everything above this will go into more preparation for the move and trying to get out of here(including buying a plane ticket for a friend who will be helping us drive the Uhaul)
