Life can change in an instant. Sadly this is exactly what happened to Sarah Isett October 10, 2015.
After a week of sickness, back and forth visits to urgent care, Sarah was not herself and there was no diagnosis. Saturday morning Sarah played soccer, but through-out the day felt worse. Her father, Steve rushed her to Atlantic General Hospital (AGH) in Berlin Maryland where they ran tests and within minutes determined she was to be medevacked to Children’s Hospital at Johns Hopkins. Sarah was in acute renal failure. Her kidneys were shutting down. It was now a life or death situation.
Had Steve not taken Sarah when he did this otherwise healthy little girl would have been in complete cardiac arrest.
Sarah spent the next three days in the PICU at Hopkins. It was determined that her immune system was attacking her kidneys. She is now in Renal Unit undergoing dialysis and steroid treatment. Fortunately for Sarah the Drs. are optimistic for her recovery, however she still has a long road ahead of her. It is not known yet the extent of the damage.

Sarah's mom, Jayme and dad, Steve have not left her side.
The looming medical costs have not yet crossed this dear families mind, so we're asking family and friends to help in whatever way they can, through prayers and donation.
