Clyde is a wonderful boy we rescued from Front Street Shelter in Sacramento. Clyde enamored everyone with his charming personality and handsome looks. We were told by the shelter that he may need ear surgery, but we wanted to save this guy.
Once we took him to our vet and to a dermatology specialist it was confirmed that he needed surgery. When a dog has ear canals that are closed, they fill up with bacteria and it is very painful. Clyde had a CT scan to find out if he had any tumors. No tumors were found but both his ear drums were ruptured -- adding even more pain. His surgery was $4,939.20 for one ear.
We try to not ask for help, but our donations are down, and we need help with Clyde. He still needs to have other ear done, which won't be as much because no CT scan will be needed, so probably $4,000. Any donation to help with the cost of his surgery would be greatly appreciated!
