In August, Sarah was given the serious and shocking medical diagnosis of ovarian cancer. Within days, surgery and months of treatment were being planned, and Sarah and Matt immediately needed to stop working to focus on Sarah’s health and recovery. The out-of-pocket medical expenses for specialized treatment and the weeks of going without work will leave Sarah and Matt without sufficient income for some time. Any funds collected will go directly toward medical expenses and paying for day-to-day living while Sarah recovers.
