A friend in need

Shockingly and suddenly Rick left this earth June 26th. Tamara, his girl, his friend, his wife, he found, in her, the partner he could live, love, and laugh with. That laughter has seen them through so much. He LOVED the way their families blended, his treasures Jane, Michael, Gabby, and Deborah and adding Ashley, Ethan, Ally, and Austin. He Loved having fun with them, being a Grandpa, being a part of every part of their lives.

Rick has been Tamara's caregiver, advocate, and sole provider. Expenses funeral, medical, loss of income and support have left her in an unstable position stepping into a future without him. She needs to continue attending to her own healthcare needs while trying to figure out how to proceed. His focus has been on caring for her and he did not anticipate or plan on leaving them all so soon. A proud woman who has had a very hard time being dependent, she would never ask for help herself. As friends we ask for her, please help her step into the future with some security.

Rick was her best advocate and this is a way we can honor him by helping the woman he cherished, by making sure she'll be ok.
