Eric's Kidney Transplant

Hello, my name is Edilberto Xelo. I am 37 years old. I have 2 children and a beautiful, loving wife. Some of you may know that about 5 years ago I was diagnosed with kidney disease. Over time,  my kidney disease has gotten worse causing my kidneys not to work well enough to keep me alive. This is what I am facing now, and my treatment options are limited to dialysis treatments which I've been undergoing for the past 5 years, or a kidney transplant.

Getting regular dialysis treatments usually 3 times a week for 4 hours at a time will help my kidney's do thier job and keep me alive, but a transplant would offer me more freedom and the ability to live a longer, healthier, more normal life. A transplant would also give me more time to do the fun things I enjoy most like spending time with my family and friends.

I tried doing the perinoterial treatment to make the dialysis treatment easier but unfortunately it did not work for me and so I had to return to doing the dialysis treatment.

The donations will be used mainly for a kidney transplant and medical expenses. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and as soon as the funds are available I would be able to start the kidney transplant process.

We can not afford to pay for a kidney transplant. After doing research, we've come to realize the transplant, after care and medications will be extremely expensive. We are asking to please find it in your heart to make a small donation to help us make this happen.

With Sincere Thanks,
Edilberto Xelo
