For years we've been dealing with my health woes and have played it safe with my bucket list. Never spending too much money on a vacation, never leaving the safety net of the country and rarely splurging on anything other than an out of network doctor or an non covered prescription.

But I've learned over the years that there is a key to the whole "YOLO/ Live like you were dying" concept.

I don't believe you can live every day like it's your last. That gets exhausting and can be emotionally draining-both physically and mentally.
But occasionally creating memories that are so extraordinary? So unbelievably memorable? Now that's making the most out of your life. That's embracing "Living like you were dying."

So that's what we decided to do. In November we booked a trip to Europe. A "Number One Bucket List Dreams" trip. Ever since I was little and oddly convinced everyone at preschool I was a princess from France, I've been obsessed with Europe. We decided to no longer put off that dream, because cancer or not, organ woes or not, life isn't guaranteed. No one is promised tomorrow, no matter what your circumstances are. It was time we truly lived and stopped playing it safe.

Everyone keeps asking what they can do for us lately, how they can help me, so I decided to make a Bucket List Go Fund Me.

This gofundme will help in so many ways without our savings for the trip being hit even more with all the necessities that come from this hectic life we live. From an extraordinary vacation in Europe, to even the ability to get prescriptions that aren't covered by insurance, yet have proven vital in quality of life- which will be unbelievably important to have in another country so every moment can be treasured.

When we booked this trip we were set. Then life happened (as the universe has an odd sense of humor). We had a last minute emergency airfare need, a broken hot water heater, a heater malfunction and now prescription coverage woes. With a one income household, and our savings dwindled down, this trip, although booked at a financially savvy rate, has started to appear a tad more stressful than exciting.

So I figured while people were asking, this could be a good idea.

Any help is appreciated, and if you can't afford to help? Well all those sweet messages, texts and calls I get are just as incredible.

Because I've said this before, and I'll say it again, "I get by with a little help from my friends"
