Hi everyone, my name is Denis and I am an environmantal activist hereby raising funds to create an Axolotl (Ambystoma Mexicanum) Sanctuary. Unfortunately, these fascinating animals are at the brink of extincion in wildlife and creation of sanctuaries is a viable alternative for their conservation. There are many aquariums and people with fish tanks who have Axolotls as pets , however, sanctuaries in wildreness are almost non-existant (there is currently only one university-led sanctuary situated in wilderness). It is of paramount importance to have the animal live in its natural environment to ensure genetic diversity and it is important to have wild animals in wildreness. This specie of Axolotl is endemic to this ecosystem and the lake remnant is the only hospitable place for its survival in nature. Help us preserve ancestral Axolotl's home!
