Hi, my name is Lisa and I'm fundraising for Misty our house rabbit.

Misty broke her rear right leg on 3rd March and on 6th March had her leg amputated ,due to the severity of the break. Her world and our world changed in the blink of an eye.. If we had opted for the break to be fixed it would have needed pinning and plating. There was no guarantee this would work and a few months down the line could have resulted in amputation. Misty was insured but as us bunny parents know its not enough to cover all fees needed to get her the treatment needed. The insurance is maxed out and we've paid 25% excess on all treatment to date.

Sadly Misty developed post op complications with an infection and has been on antibiotics for 2 weeks, it could be for a further 6 weeks.

Tomorrow she has another vet appointment as it seems to be inspissated and could need flushing.

Please if you can share far and wide and any donations are so appreciated to help get this fluff ball back to her usual happy self Any funds that aren't used for Misty's care will be donated to 2 local rabbit rescue.
