Four-year-old Axel is full of life and laughter. I have never met a more energetic child! He is the brightest of lights; mischievious in the best kind of way. The unthinkable has happened and his precious life hangs in the balance after an accident in our little town of Zacatitos. The last thing his family should have to worry about at this horrific time is money. His parents are some of the most hard-working, kind, loving humans on this planet. After working all day, Axel's mom Brenda would often make us dinner and drop it off at our house (what a fantastic cook), not for any reason, just because. His dad Rene is endlessly patient (trying to teach us Spanish, ha), he would drop everything to help a friend, and works so hard for his family. No one deserves this kind of pain, them least of all.

"As most of you in Zacatitos know there was an accident involving our godson, Axel. We are staying in La Paz with Rene at a hotel. Any $ help would be greatly appreciated as the family has already been fleeced by St. Lukes just to stabilize him. We are now at Hospital in La Paz he’s on a respirator and we will continue praying."
