Hello all,

This is my son Axell-James "AJ" for short.

At 25 weeks gestation he was diagnosed with CHD (congenital heart defect/disease) More specifically, pulmonary atresia (pulmonary valve wasnt formed with an opening) with intact ventricular septum (right ventricle was intact but very small and unable to keep appropriate pressure do to no ralease of blood through pulmonary valve) "pa/ivs" and tricuspid valve dysplasia (right atrium getting back flow from the right ventricle and the tricuspid valve unable to pump affectivly being restricted because of the excess muscle build up in the right ventricle as well as the pulmonary valve not open). As any parent could imagine dad and I took this very hard. Multiple appointments, MFM visits, specialist, cardiologists, counseling, amongst everyday life situations.

I'm reaching out in hopes to get some financial help to off load the stress that has been put on a single income house hold. Dad spliting his time and taking time off as much as needed to be my support system, takeing care of our 2 daughters alone majority of the time and here for his first born son. I've choose to not pursue another job at the moment do to the hard ship pregnancy caused on my body (gestational hypertension, pre-eclampsia, and cholostasis) and the uncertainty of this nicu/ccu (cardiac care unit) hospital stay. This has caused a major financial strain on our family. The hospital stay has been 8 days and counting. Born at 35 weeks, Our sweet boy has already gone through so much in his short 8 days of life. Eventually needing open heart surgery.

Contracted an infection (NEC) on day 4, tested positive for GBI on day one of life, cath procedure on day 6 and 7, Now day 9 and blood culture came back with Ecoli in his blood stream that he is being treated for. He has over came so much in just a few days. If you can't donate a prayer is just as appreciated.

Update: Axell has under gone open heart surgery. He is on his way to healing, this is just the beginning. Please keep our baby boy in your prayers.

Update: Our sweet boy tragically passed away 7/30/24. This was unexpected and very sudden. Our hearts our shadderd,He has changed us in so many ways and will never be forgotten.
