Please join us in helping to raise money to help with Katie’s surgery and recovery cost. Katie was injured while taking care of an animal on her farm. The accident resulted in several broken bones to the right side of her face.  She required extensive urgent surgery on November 5, 2020and is currently recovering at home. She still has weeks of recovery ahead of her and is unable to work as a nurse during her recovery, in which she is very physically limited. The funds from this page will go toward her mounting hospital bills.

Katie and Todd started their veteran-owned farm “Freedom Farming” in 2019. They have over 200 animals on their farm, including some that have been rescued from the local area. They are trying to make their dream come true with bringing life back to the former farm they now call home.
