Axe Out Cancer for Andrea
A little over a year ago my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. For about eight months she had it on the run, but unfortunately it spread to the bones and has caused other complications, specifically a consistent build up of fluid in her lungs. She has had over two liters removed so far and is headed back in again this week.
Her whole life is dedicated to helping other people. She is a holistic fertility expert & coach helping women into their mid 40s to have a baby when doctors have said it’s impossible. She's written a book on the topic How to Get Pregnant Even When You’ve Tried Everything: A Mind Body Guide to Fertility, and has been interviewed in several Los Angeles news outlets about her work.
THE GOOD NEWS
Her tumor markers have decreased consistently over the last few months, so we're hoping they continue in that direction.
THE CHALLENGE
Many of the treatments that have been effective in getting those numbers down are either not covered, or are only partly covered by insurance. As you can imagine this has left her with a number of growing expenses that I would love to lessen for her.
