Please help me print my book!

Hi friends,

I would love to print my latest children’s book, Little Fish. Last time with ‘Freddie Fox’ I paid the initial print run upfront but this time I’m in ‘full time mum without an income’ zone so I’m hoping I have 100 friends and family who are willing to do preorders so I can afford the first edition print run.

I know there are print on demand platforms but I believe at least doing a first edition this way gives a higher quality control. For just £800 I can do test prints and 32 page A5 landscape hard cover colour books for 100 friends and have plenty of additional copies to market to the industry to showcase what I do. If I get more than 100 people wanting books I’ll just do a bigger print run. Your book will be with you in spring 2024.

If you want to buy a book please give a donation of £8 (collect from lewes) or £10 including UK p&p. I will then contact you when the book is ready to send you a copy. If you live overseas, please do £10 and I’ll contact you to work out the postage costs. If you just want to help, donate any other amount!

Storyline:

This book is telling a story of a Little Fish, who didn’t fit in so went to explore the ocean, in doing so discovered his own expression through movement.

He met inspiring friends such as dolphins and a whale, jumped out of the sea to breathe the air above and learned about denser perspectives from blobby bottom dwellers!

He returned to his village to share his new wisdom but was shunned as a liar by those who had never left the reef. Unperturbed he simply went about his life joyfully creating a beautiful mandala garden and in doing so inspired the other fish to find their own heartfelt expressions which rippled love throughout the ocean!
