My island and my family were devastated by Super Typhoon Sinlaku, a Category 5 storm that caused widespread destruction. Our island’s power plant has been destroyed, leaving families—including mine—without electricity for weeks, possibly months.

impacted. One of our biggest concerns is her outdoor kitchen, which has been destroyed. My grandma suffered a stroke years ago and has very limited mobility, so that outdoor kitchen is an essential space she relies on daily. Right now, it’s no longer safe or usable.

We are raising funds to help my parents cover the costs of rebuilding my grandmother’s outdoor kitchen, repairing the damage to her home, and purchasing essential supplies like food, water, and basic necessities during this time without power.
