Hello. As some of you may know, I was involved in a domestic violence incident on 6/19/25 at the hands of my now ex-boyfriend. I am alive (thank God). The bruises, scratches, and trauma will take time to heal, but I am grateful to still be here and thankful my daughter was not there to witness this.

Because of this incident, I am technically homeless. I was able to grab our clothing and my daughter’s bed. I have to start completely over. I have no savings because he drained all of my money. I am staying with family and friends in the meantime.

I am trying to find a safe and affordable place for my daughter and me. I wish I didn’t have to ask for help, but I am swallowing my pride and doing so. Please share this if you can. I will probably have a ton of court hearings in the future, which will make me have to miss work also. I currently have a PFA from him.
