This year the Amature Athletic Union (AAU) Track & Field Junior Olympics will be held in Des Moines, Iowa and Allison has qualified in the 400 Meter Hurdles.
If you know track and field then you know how hard the 400 Meter Hurdles can be and it's a great accomlishment to run this event at a national level. Allison has worked hard all year and hopefully this will be her crowning moment. At any rate the satisfaction of running with some of the best athletes in the nation clearly out weighs any personal achievments made.
